Mauro Mueller is a Swiss/Mexican narrative filmmaker with a M.F.A. in film from Columbia University in New York. His short film “Un mundo para Raúl” has won a Student Academy Award 2013 among many other prizes at Aspen Shortsfest, New York Shortsfest, etc. His films have screened at various festivals including Singapore, Morelia, Huesca, Guanajuato, Palm Springs, Brooklyn and have won twice the CINE Golden Eagle Award, Big Beach Best directing award, IFP Audience Award, CINE Special Jury Award, etc. In 2013, Mauro won the Upcoming Talents Award at Solothurner Filmtage. Mauro was part of the Masterclass Atelier Paris-Ludwigsburg at La Femis, a post-graduate program which is tailored around European co-production/distribution. He is a recipient of the Marcie Bloom Fellowship and was part of the Guadalajara Talent Campus, Zurich Master Class, Script Station at the Berlinale Talent Campus 2012, and ScriptConnect in NYC as well as in L.A. with his feature script “Fingerplay.” Mauro produced the feature film “Copenhagen” starring Gethin Anthony (Game of Thrones) in Denmark and is producing the omnibus feature film “Remember Me Berlin.”
He is co-owner of the production company Fidelio Films.
