Mark Raso is a filmmaker from Toronto, Canada. Mark has been the recipient of numerous awards, including the prestigious Student Academy Award (Oscars) Gold Medal for his short film “Under”. The film also received the CINE Golden Eagle Award, The Golden ACE Award, and the CINE Special Jury Award for best narrative student ﬁlm in the country. Mark has also been awarded the David Jones Memorial Award for Excellence in Directing and The Hollywood Foreign Press Award for Excellence in Filmmaking. In total, his ﬁlms have screened in over 20 countries around the world. He recently completed production on his first feature film “Copenhagen”. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Cinema Studies from the University of Toronto as well a Masters of Fine Arts in Film from Columbia University in New York. He currently resides in Los Angeles.
