David Figueroa García is a filmmaker from Mexico City and co-owner of Fidelio Films. After finishing his basic education in Mexico, he graduated from the City University of New York in Classic Literature and Film production at the top of his class. David is a graduate from Columbia University’s film M.F.A program. His work has received awards from the Directors Guild of America, the National Board of Review, IFP, HSF McNamara Grant for the arts among others and, screened in festivals around the world. His short film “Ratitas” screened at various festivals including Morelia IFF and his most recent short “Gloom” is about to do the festival circuit. He’s based out of New York and Mexico City.
